Ephrem lived in 250 AD in what is now southern Turkey near the Syrian border. The most ancient and distinctive of the regional spices here is the noble allspice. In honor of the region’s rich history we have this unique mastic liqueur where we combine mastic from the Greek island of Xios (Chios) with native Syrian allspice and then (it’s only fitting and creates a perfect harmony), we add just a touch of holy basil herb from Nepal.  Only available directly from Stoutridge.
