Artemis begins as a botanically infused whiskey mash and our own Hudson Valley grown grape wine. The whiskey from the mash is aged in barrels made from locally grown oak trees. A brandy double distilled from the wine is aged in ex Pinot Noir barrels. The two spirits are combined into a 400 gallon ex red wine Cask which acts as a Solera for the blend. To this auspicious mixture we macerate in select botanicals and finally sweeten to perfection. Santè!
