Nocturne is a 114 proof and lightly sweetened (3% sugar) version of our 136 proof Scherzo. Everything else is the same. We originally made it with bartenders in mind, but many of our customers prefer it, especially for drinking “neat”. We recommend a 2:1 mix with water rather than the usual 3:1 or 4:1 for the Scherzo or Prelude absinthes.
